个人简介
Patricia Ortega-Chasi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Universidad del Azuay. She currently serves as the Computer Science Undergraduate Program Coordinator. Her prior positions include serving as Director of the School of System Engineering and Telematics at Universidad del Azuay and Director of the Technological Formation Unit at Universidad del Azuay. She received the Fulbright Faculty Development Program scholarship (2012-2014) and the SENESCYT scholarship (2014-2018). Her research interests include computer science undergraduate education and the intersection between technology, education, and neuroscience, focusing on exploring ways computer technology can improve education. Dr Ortega-Chasi earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters in Multimedia Design from Universidad del Azuay, her Master of Sciences in Computer Science and Engineering, and her PhD in Curriculum, Instruction and the Science of Learning (Science Education) from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
