My current research features the manipulation of regular intensive dairy grassland management through the reduction of soil structural damage to enhance forage yield through controlled traffic. The use of novel crops in animal forage, such as legumes to demonstrate both the nutritional values and to sustain soil structure and provide soil nutrients. I have worked in Zambia on soil health and sequestering soil organic material to enhance yield in subsistence farming communities.
