个人简介
Omer Paneth is a Ph.D. student at Boston University. He received his B.S. at the Open University of Israel and M.S. at Tel Aviv University. Paneth studies the foundations of cryptography, more specifically the design and analysis of cryptographic protocols. One focal point in his research is the ability to write obfuscated programs that, even when completely exposed, give an observer no advantage over black-box access to the program. Another focal point is finding new ways to make meaningful use of the adversary’s program in analyzing security of protocols. Paneth has shown some surprising connections between these two questions. In particular he used both positive and negative results for program obfuscation to obtain new techniques for arguing about adversarial behavior in the context of zero-knowledge protocols.
