Current Employment and Previous Positions
Director of Assiut University Hospitals Communicable Diseases Surveillance Unit (NEEDS) and responsible for daily reporting newly identified cases of HIV at the University hospitals to the National Aids/HIV Control Program ( NAP) of the Ministry of Health and Population. Currently also supporting NAP in Assiut Governorate working closely with the current director in identifying gaps and advocating to prioritize HIV prevention and control activities.
Current position: Prof. of Public Health at Assiut University Faculty of Medicine – Department of Public Health from 1/8/2018 till now.
Technical supervisor of the department of Public Health & Community Medicine – Aswan University since 2012 till 2021.
Chair of the Department of Public Health and Community Medicine – Faculty of Medicine- Assiut University 1/8/2016 till end of July 2018.
Director of the Assiut University Primary Health & Social Care Center 1995-2000.
