个人简介
Olivier Pluchery graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (Paris, France) in 1997 with a specialization in Laser Physics. He obtained his PhD in chemical physics from University Paris-Sud in 2000 and was interested in the investigation of the electrochemical reactions on a gold interface, monitored with Sum Frequency Generation, a nonlinear optical spectroscopy. In 2001 he joined Yves Chabal’s team at Bell-Labs (USA) to work on semiconductor interfaces. In 2002, he obtained a position as associate professor at University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris) where he is currently developing several research programs dealing with the control of the adsorption of organic molecules on silicon or with gold nanoparticles. In 2010 he defended his Dissertation for obtaining the accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches in France) at University Pierre et Marie Curie with the title: “Controlled organization of molecules and gold nanoparticles for single charge electronics”. Since 2017 he is full professor at Sorbonne University in Paris with 5 main research interests
(1) Plasmonics: study of the unique optical properties of gold nanoparticles related to plasmon resonance. Optical monitoring of supported gold nanoparticles, coupled with photochromic molecules. Ongoing project oriented towards controlling the electronic transport through photochromic molecules under plasmonic excitation
(2) Chemical control of the electronic properties of gold nanoparticles: work function modification with size, support, chemical functionalization. [2 articles, See project]
(3) Chemical reactivity of silicon surfaces by wet chemistry and controlled deposition of electrically active chemical species (POM or AuNPs). Application to molecular electronics.
(4) Adhesion of individual metallic nanoparticles and dependence with their electrical charge.
(5) Plasmonic color engineering for the luxury market: precise color control of a material containing metallic nanoparticles. Industrial development with the foundation of the start-up Bichromatics.
