Norman J. Steinert

As a Senior Researcher at CICERO, my research focuses on the analysis of land-climate interactions, including land surface physical processes, energy exchanges, and the carbon cycle in permafrost and the global biosphere. I also focus on the investigation of tipping points under changing warming conditions, and Earth system reversibility in climate change mitigation scenarios using Earth System Models, as well as Simple Climate Models.
