Bio
Nico Schulz received the Diploma degree for research on low-dimensional electronic systems in inhomogeneous magnetic fields from the University of Freiburg, Freiburg, Germany, in 2004, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree.
In 2004, he joined the Optoelectronic Modules Department at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte Festkörperphysik (IAF), Freiburg, Germany. His work is focused on the design, realization, and characterization of midinfrared semiconductor disk lasers (VECSELs) and laser modules.
