Bio
My name is Nooshin Karami, a graduate master’s student majoring in Clinical Psychology from Shiraz University, one of Iran’s renowned universities. My primary research interests are Decision making, Delay Discounting, Impulsivity, and psychological disorders. Considering these interests, I wrote my thesis entitled “A Comparison of Delay Discounting, Harm Avoidance, and Impulsivity among Substance Use Dependent Groups and Substance Use Dependent with Antisocial Disorder and Depressive Disorder. “While being a student, I have been working on three journal articles (two of them are published), and have the experience of working as an RA and TA. In addition to gaining a 7.5 in IELTS, I have gained a GRE Overall Score of 329. With that being said, I decided to pursue my Ph.D. studies. I am ready to collaborate with other scientists from cognitive and neuroscience backgrounds. Also, I look forward to experiencing new studies and research domains.
