个人简介
Associate professor Nina Rydland Olsen is a physiotherapist and a researcher/educator in evidence-based practice (EBP) and implementation science. Olsen is head of section Evidence-based Practice at the Department of Health and Functioning, Faculty of Health and Social Science at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. She is also leading the research group “Educational research in health- and social care professions”. She received her PhD in 2015, holds a master’s degree in physiotherapy, University of Bergen, Norway and a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy, Coventry University, UK. Olsen supervises master and PhD students within EBP and implementation science. She is the principal investigator of a research project on a mobile application called the EBPsteps. Recently she received a 2-year grant (1.5 mill NKR) from the Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education to develop online resources in EBP. Olsen is author and co-author of 15 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Recent publications she contributed to include: “Experiences with using a mobile application for learning evidence-based practice in health and social care education: An interpretive descriptive study” (PLoS ONE, 2021;16:7), and “Core Competencies in Evidence-Based Practice for Health Professionals. Consensus Statement Based on a Systematic Review and Delphi Survey» (Jama Network Open 2018;2:12).
