个人简介
Nikolaos Gatsis (Member, IEEE) received the Diploma degree (Hons.) in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, Patras, Greece, in 2005, and the graduate and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with minor in mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2010 and 2012, respectively.
He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas at San Antonio, San Antonio, TX, USA. His research focuses on optimal and secure operation of smart power grids and other critical infrastructures, including water distribution networks and the Global Positioning System.
Dr. Gatsis is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award. He co-organized symposia in the area of smart grids in IEEE GlobalSIP 2015 and 2016. He was a Co-Guest Editor for a special issue of the IEEE Journal on Selected Topics in Signal Processing on Critical Infrastructures. He was also selected to present to the 2020 NSF Engineering CAREER Proposal Writing Workshop.
