Nicolas Frick received the B.Sc. degree in applied computer science from the University of Duisburg-Essen, with a focus on embedded systems. He is currently pursuing the M.Sc. degree in computer science with the University of Hamburg. He completed vocational training and was involved in the industrial sector as a Mechatronic Engineer before moving to academia. He is also a part of the NICOL Humanoid Robot Engineering Team. His research interest includes the applicability of deep learning methods to humanoid robotic grasping.
