Bio

Nicolas Cassiau received the M.Sc. degree in signal processing from the Polytech’Nantes, Nantes, France, in 2001. Since 2001, he has been a Research Engineer and the Project Manager with the CEA-Leti, Grenoble, France. His research interests include digital wireless communications and algorithms design. He is working in particular on physical layer design and assessment for 4G and 5G, RF impairments modeling, and sub-terahertz communications. He has been involved in several European projects, including mmMAGIC (millimeter-wave communications), 5GNOW (waveform design), and more recently 5G-ALLSTAR. He has authored or coauthored over 35 papers and holds several patents in the abovementioned fields.
