Bio
Niccolò Biasi received the B.Sc. (cum laude) degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Pisa in 2018 and the M.Sc. (cum laude) degree in bionics engineering from the University of Pisa and the School of Advanced Studies Sant’Anna in 2020. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Information Engineering Program, University of Pisa. His M.Sc. thesis focused on computer simulations describing the electrical behavior of the heart. He is also teaching a bioelectric phenomena course at the Biomedical Engineering Program, University of Pisa. His main research interests are in modeling electrophysiology and designing tactile sensors. He is actually focusing on modeling of the electrical activity of the heart (with particular attention to reentry phenomena and ECG simulation), and inverse problem solving, particularly in electrocardiography and electrical impedance tomography.
