Bio
Milica Nićetin is currently an Research Associate in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad. She received her MSc in 2010., and started as a researcher on the project "Osmotic dehydration of food - energy and environmental aspects of sustainable production" in the Faculty of Technology, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia (2011-2019). At the same faculty, she received her PhD degree, in October 2017, defending her doctoral thesis "Effects of osmotic dehydration on improving sustainability, nutritive and antioxidative properties of celery leaves and root (Apium graveolens). Her basic field of research refers to drying of animal and plant materials, antioxidative potential of dried products, valorization of food wastes. During her scientific research work, she published and announced over 100 scientific papers. Also, she is a reviewer for the Journal of Food Processing and Preservation and Food and Feed Research.
