I performed my university studies in the School of electrical engineering, Belgrade university, Serbia, including the PhD entitled: " The implementation and application of the low energy ion scattering technique for the surface composition analysis "
Main scientific interests:
Surface science, surface and thin film composition and structure characterization, ion interaction with metalic and insulator surfaces, nano-scale science and technology, low energy ion scattering, ion sputtering, ion optics, energy and mass analysis of charged particles, vacuum technologies, numerical simulation of ion-surface interaction grazing incidence ion surface scattering; highly charged ions interactions with insulator surfaces,
grazing incidence fast atom diffraction; secondary electron emission; TOF and coincidence measurements; electron-surface interaction and secondary electron emission; coherent scattering and inelastic loss of fast atoms from surfaces
Main skills:
- Surface science, experience in the problems of surface composition determination, surface segregation and adsorption;
- Experience in work with vacuum systems (from low vacuum to UHV), ion sources, ion-optical systems, and particle detectors; surface preparation prior to surface science experiments;
- Low energy ion scattering and ion sputtering, energy and mass analysis of charged particles;
- Fast atom-surface interaction, coherent scattering and inelastic loss of atoms scattered from a surface;
-Time of flight experimental technique, coincidence measurements;
- Electron-surface interaction, secondary electron emission;
- Numerical simulations of ion-surface interactions (binary collision approximation) and insulator charging;
- Design and development of ion-optical systems by numerical simulations (SIMION etc.) and/or analytical approach;
- Programming skills using MATLAB, Pascal, etc.
