I have a degree in Biomedical Engineering from ISEP - Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. Throughout my academic career I had contact with several computational tools. The final degree project was carried out in collaboration with the Porto Biomedical Simulation Center. This project had as its main objective the simulation of cardiac and respiratory sound signals, in order to update a human simulator at the Center. For this, I collected the signal from the Kaggle platform, and processed the signal, obtaining normal and pathological signals. A graphical interface was created that displays the signal in graphic mode and simultaneously reproduces the sound of the heartbeat/breathing.
My professional career started in 2019 in clinical engineering functions, with VOTSFP - Hospital. I carried out a survey of all hospital equipment at the health unit, and validated all equipment maintenance sheets. I was in contact with several equipment suppliers, and validated with the VOTSFP - Hospital hospital team, all the necessary equipment for acquisition, initially determining all those that were in an obsolete state. All equipment information was loaded into an autonomous database that allowed access by the various members of the health unit.
In 2020 I started a master's degree in Mathematics and Computing, with a specialization in Data Science, at the University of Minho.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, in the context of the Integrated Project curricular unit, a project was carried out in collaboration with Accenture, in which it was possible to process a database referring to citizens of the cities of Braga and Porto, and to apply machine algorithms learning.
In 2021, I started an internship in Data Science, with the company Litel, Lda. In this project, I had a database with data referring to sales of the company's products, and the objective was to discover patterns of similarity and dissimilarity between the data (clustering), allowing to extract information regarding the products that are most and least sold. In addition, a previous exploratory analysis of the data was carried out, which allowed extracting more relevant information.
I defended my dissertation on December 21st, 2022, obtaining a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computing from UMinho.
From March 2023 I took over the position of Financial Systems Analyst at Ryan, Portugal.
