I am a professor of Biomedical NanoPhysics at Keele University, with current research interests in two main areas: 1) the study and development of magnetic nanostructures for biomedical applications such as potential new treatments for cancer, and 2) the application of x-ray synchrotron techniques to probe biological materials at the nanoscale, with a particular focus on understanding the biochemistry of diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
