His current research interests include cloud computing, security, and dependability, parallel and distributed computing, networks, and optimization theory.,Prof. Naixue was a General Chair, a Program Chair, a Publicity Chair, a Presiding Committee Member, and an Organizing Committee Member of over 100 international conferences, and a reviewer of about 100 international journals, including the IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (Parts: A/B/C), the IEEE Transactions on Communications, the IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, and the IEEE Transaction on Parallel and Distributed Systems. He serves as an Editor-in-Chief, an Associate Editor, or an Editorial Member for over ten international journals, including the IEEE Transaction on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems and the Journal of Parallel and Cloud Computing. He is a Guest Editor for over ten international journals, including Sensor Journal, Wireless Networks, and Mobile Networks and Applications.
