Bio

Maxim M. Nazarov received the Ph.D. degree in physics from M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), Moscow, Russia, in 2002. Until 2012, he was a Scientific Researcher with MSU, where his research focused on femtosecond lasers, surface plasmons, and THz spectroscopy. In 2012, he became a Scientific Researcher with the ILIT, Russian Academy of Sciences, where he is concerned with on the topic of polymer waveguides for THz and visible ranges. Since 2016, he has been the Head of the Laboratory of Ultraintense Laser Pulses, National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute,” Moscow, Russia. He has authored more than 70 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
