个人简介
Natércia Lima was born in Porto, Portugal, on December 11, 1965. She received the Bachelor Degree in Physics/Applied Mathematics and the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto, Portugal in 1989 and 1998, respectively. In 2020, she has received the PhD (Cum Laude) in the Education in the Knowledge Society (in the area of Engineering Education) from the University of Salamanca
She is a professor at the Polytechnic of Porto - School of Engineering (ISEP) since 1993 and currently holds a position as Adjunct Professor. She is a researcher at CIETI – LABORIS - Center for Innovation in Engineering and Industrial Technology, since 2014. She has authored or co-authored over 45 publications, including chapter books, conference and international scientific journal papers, with a referee process. She has participated in two international research ERASMUS+ projects. She has been a member of several program scientific committees of international conferences and member of organizing committees, including local chair of national and international conferences/symposiums. She has collaborated as a reviewer of several international journals and conferences in engineering education topics. Her research interests include engineering education (with special attention in the use of virtual and remote labs in students’ learning outcomes), students’ active learning and teachers’ professional development.
She has also been a member of the ISEP’s Scientific Technical Council (2009 – 2014), sub director of the Master in Instrumentation and Metrology Engineering (2012 - 2016) and member of the ISEP´s Physics Department Management Board (sub director: 2002, 2007 – 2010; director: 2003 – 2005; 2010 – 2012). She is currently -since May 2022- sub director of the Master degree in Biomedical Engineering.
