个人简介
I have complementary qualifications in healthcare leadership (Bachelor's and Masters's degrees at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, a reputable Public University in Iran), and health promotion (Ph.D. and Postdoctoral at Griffith University). I am currently a senior lecturer and course coordinator at the Master of healthcare leadership at Southern Cross University, and an adjunct research fellow at Griffith University. I started my work in 2004 and have held positions in academia (research and teaching), as well as health industries (hospital management). Across these roles, I have developed expertise in both the theoretical and practical areas of health, social, and community care systems. I am a community advocate in health promotion, and women's leadership. I have international contribution through my published works in high-ranking journals (published papers: 42; citations: 740; H-index: 15; i10-index: 19; conference presentations: 30 – 10 Oct 2022).
My key areas of interest are categorised into three key themes:
1. Health Promotion
• Preventative/health promotion approaches to diseases include nutrition, exercise, sleeping, yoga, meditation, not smoking, not/limiting drinking, breathing techniques, stress management, and positive connections with self, nature, and others
• A holistic and functional approach to health, interconnecting physical, psychological, behavioural, social, and environmental aspects of health
2. Healthcare leadership
• Promoting effective, efficient, and equitable care across health, social, and community care settings by leveraging technology as a tool for the most optimum outcome.
• Integrated care provision that covers all aspects of consumers’ needs (from prevention to treatment, and end of the life care); across all aspects of health (including physical, mental, and social health); and by including different partners (consumers, carers/family members, as a unit of care).
• Women leadership, as a social process to empower women leaders, for transformational changes, in their own life and society.
3. Online personalised education – Leveraging technology for innovative and personalised educational development and delivery that engages students to identify real-world issues, generate ideas, and translate their learning into practice.
