Napoleon Rafael Torres

I am a committed to the development of neuroprotective strategies in Parkinson disease. My research also extends to new neuromodulation techniques for drug resistant epilepsy, to the advancement in neuroprosthesis(Brain-Computer Interfaces, vagal nerve stimulation, and visual prosthesis). I am strongly involved in the development of new materials for interfacing the brain (electrodes, leads, etc.) and more biocompatible implantable sensors for neural implants.
