Nandita Dasgupta

Nandita DasGupta (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Jadavpur University in 1982, and the M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from IIT Madras in 1984 and 1988, respectively. She received the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in 1991 and spent one year with TU Darmstadt, Germany. Since 1993, she has been a Faculty Member with the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras and is currently a Professor. She has published more than 175 papers in International journals and conferences. Her area of research is silicon and compound semiconductor devices. She is a fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering.
