Bio
Nadia Butterlin was born in Argenteuil, France, in 1963. She received the electronic engineering from the ENSI Caen, France, in 1986. She received the Ph.D. degree in optoelectronic engineering from the Optics Laboratory, University of Franche-Comté, Besançon, France, in 1989, for a dissertation on parallel optical computing.
She worked for four years as a Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) Engineer. She is has been an Associate Professor at the University of Franche-Comté since 1993 and received the “habilitation” in 2004. She is the Director of the Public Biomedical Engineering School ISIFC since 2005. She is working on innovative medical devices adapted to diagnosis, therapeutics and medical monitoring. Niche sectors are also addressed: disabled people equipment and home care.
