Nagendra Yadava

My current research interests include deciphering the regulatory relationships among respiratory chain function, inflammatory response, tumor suppressor p53, and heme biosynthesis to understand their roles in disease susceptibility and therapeutic response. We use genetic and pharmacological tools to model mitochondrial respiratory chain deficiency in animals and cell culture and then determine its impact on different processes of interest.
