Bio
I develop advanced numerical tools and use them to better understand and model the effects of geometrically complex clouds on solar radiation. My work has direct implications for weather forecast and climate modelling, as well as for complex energetic systems such as cities or solar power plants that are affected by the presence of clouds, and computer graphics since the rendering of cloudy scenes is also a radiative transfer problem.
