Bio
Dr Maja Romcevic obtained her BSc, MSc and PhD at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. She was employed at Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences from 1997 to 2001 and, from 2001, at the Institute of Physics. She holds a position of the principal research fellow. Her areas of interest are related to the experimental and theoretical work on the characterization of electronic materials. Recently, her investigations are focused on chalcopyrites obtained by using direct fussion method. She is the co-author over the 130 papers in the international journals (over 65 in the leading international journals). She is the author of one patent- special chamber for the production of the ultrafine Faraday crystals by using the Czochralski method. According to the Google scholar database papers are cited over 1650 times, h-index is 22, i10 index is 50. She was the leader of the two innovative projects. She has mentored one doctoral dissertations. She collaborates with colleagues from Poland and Egypt and leads the collaboration with Russian Federation.
