Bio
Ravikumar Nattudurai has obtained his doctorate (physics) from Anna University, Chennai, India for his research work in 'Growth and characterization of borate single crystals with near-biological tissue equivalent for dosimetric applications. He was hired as a project fellow at the GRD Center for Materials Research, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India (2014-2017) and engaged in research on oxide single crystals for radiation dosimetry. He was then appointed Assistant Professor at Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, India, in 2019. He initiated the research on personnel and clinical dosimetry, LED and non-linear optics. He has contributed several research publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at various international conferences. He currently works as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo, Norway (2020 to present) and engaged in his research on the growth of single crystals and the preparation of nanophosphors for electron paramagnetic resonance and thermoluminescence dosimetry.
