Bio
Nikki is the Library Manager for the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and Statewide Mental health, as a part of the SA Health Library Service .
During 2020 she has been working as an Evidence Researcher for the South Australian Covid-19 Evidence Taskforce.
In 2018 she made the switch from the academic sector after working for 7 years for Flinders University, mostly as the Liaison Librarian for the Health Sciences. After working with academic staff on embedding EBP skills into their curriculum she is now applying this experience in designing continuing education courses for clinicians.
Nikki has extensive experience in undertaking systematic searching, and is proficient in applying JBI and Cochrane searching methodologies. She has collaborated with a number of review teams on systematic, scoping and rapid reviews.
Nikki was previously a tutor at the annual Australian Evidence Based Practice Librarians' Institute (AEBPLI) and a manuscript reviewer for a number of journals.
Previous research projects centred around a collaboration with Flinders Filters, creating new topic search filters and developing evaluation tools for these specialist search tools.
