个人简介
I am a Research Scientist at the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area (EESA) at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab).
My focus is to develop and use remote sensing and geophysical techniques to characterize environmental dynamics, with emphasis on natural and managed (agriculture) ecosystems. Following a strictly interdisciplinary approach, I’m employing knowledge from a wide spectrum of disciplines, such as image and signal processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning.
My background includes a Ph.D. (joint degree) in electrical and computer engineering and information and communication technology, more than 10 years of experience in remote sensing image analysis and processing with a particular emphasis on hyperspectral imaging, the role of senior researcher in several projects, and the role of team leader in several data collection campaigns.
