Bio
Nicholas Bari Olivier received the D.V.M. degree in veterinary
medicine from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA, in 1981, and the Ph.D. degree in physiology from
Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA, in 1990.
Since then, he has been on the faculty of the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary
Medicine, Michigan State University, where he is currently an Associate Professor and Chief of clinical cardiology.
His research interests include cardiovascular physiology and biomedical engineering, with a specific interest in
cardiac electrophysiology as it pertains to arrhythmias.
