Bio
I am Associate Professor of Marketing at the Department of economics and social sciences, University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, Saguenay, Canada, Founder and head of LaboNFC (Laboratory of research on New Forms of Consumption). I am also the recipient of the Social Sciences 2020 Young Investigator award, the AFM-AMS joint research initiatve in 2021, as well as of the University of Quebec Excellence Award in 2022.
My research interests include responsible consumption and marketing, collaborative economy and technology. I have been received prestigious fellowships (SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier, FRQSC fellowships) and earned around CAD 4,489,270 in research grants either as a principal investigator or co-researcher. I have published over 81 research articles in peer-reviewed journals on those topics, including in A*- or A-level journals (ADBC list) such as European Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Consumer Studies, Journal of Macromarketing, Marketing Intelligence & Planning, Business Strategy & the Environment, Journal of Cleaner Production, Behaviour & Information Technology, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, International Marketing Review, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Product & Brand Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and International Journal of Market Research.
While being co-responsible of axis 1 of RRECQ (Research network on the circular economy of Quebec), affiliated with several local (Quebecer) research centers and units (RRECQ, CIRODD, CRDT, DU, OCR, OdlP), I am also a member of international research associations and networks (AFM research interest group "Marketing and sustainable development", RIODD) and of the Editorial Review Boards of leading international journals: International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), Journal of Consumer Behaviour (JCB), Journal of Consumer Marketing (JCM), Clean Technologies & Recycling (CT&R), and International Journal of Business and Economics Research (IJBER).
I have also extensive editorial experiences, as a book editor (Handbook of research on the platform economy and the evolution of e-commerce; Les reconfigurations de l'échange marchand: Tour d'horizon, enjeux et perspectives [The reconfigurations of commercial exchange: Overview, challenges, and perspectives]), as an author (Marketing responsable [Responsible marketing]), as peer-reviwed journal associate editor (AE) (Frontiers in Psychology [FIP], Frontiers in Sustainability [FIS]), and as a special issue guest editor (FIP, FIS, Sustainability, Revue Organisations & Territoires).
In addition to teaching and research, I also grant importance to the service to the community and I serve on multiple committees and boards within UQAC, but also outside of my institution, and on grant committees of Canadian granting agencies (e.g., SSHRC, FRQSC, MITACS).
