Bio
Mustafa Altay Karamuftuoglu received the bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical and electronics engineering from the TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Ankara, Turkey, where he graduated with honors as a recipient of merit scholarship. He is currently working toward the doctorate degree in electrical engineering from the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA.
He joined Superconducting Electronics Laboratory (SEL), TOBB University of Economics and Technology, in 2013 and conducted research on rapid single flux quantum (RSFQ) and superconducting spiking neural network (SNN) circuits. He is a Member of System Power Optimization and Regulation Technology (SPORT) Laboratory since the spring of 2020. His research interests include very large scale integration (VLSI) design and ultralow power neuromorphic computing.
