Muslum Arkan received B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Gaziantep, Gaziantep, Turkey, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Sussex, Brighton, UK, in 1994 and 2000 respectively. Since 1994, he has been with the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Inonu University, where he is currently a Full-Professor. His research activities include the use of digital signal analysis for diagnostic, condition monitoring and motor failure prediction by sensorless methods and modeling of electrical machines for diagnosis purpose.
