Bio
With the strong background of Science at graduation level I was selected for Master of Education in Teacher Education Program from the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development in 2001 and successfully completed in 2003. This professional and vigorous academic exposure has facilitated me to take a leap from a career of mathematics teacher in a school to a faculty member in the University of Karachi in 2006. As a faculty member I have learned about the importance of constant professional development. This situation motivated me to excel my knowledge and expertise in the field of teacher training. In the year 2009-2010, I have earned my Post graduate Diploma in Education from University of Karachi. My journey did not end here but ignited me for the highest academic qualification. On the scholarship of United State Agency of International Development under the Faculty Development Program I have completed my Doctor of Education from Dowling College of Long Island University, USA. The topic of my dissertation was “Instructional Practices of Teacher-Educators in Multicultural Classroom for Pre-Service Student-Teachers in Karachi, Pakistan and New York, USA” under the supervision of Dr. Robert J. Manley.
