个人简介
I graduated as a computer scientist with distinction and then got a fellowship for my masters in Systems Engineering. There I got expertise in control systems, systems modelling, image processing and computer vision. I worked on Optical fringes to extract useful physical features of horizontal and angular movements of the fringes. I got inclined towards biological data analytics and using machine learning for different research questions in applied biology. This gave me an opportunity to work on genomic prediction for phenotype prediction problems in plants and animals as part of my PhD studies. Now I feel passionate to train and educate my students in applied bioinformatics. At present, my research interests are inclined towards using artificial intelligence to link genotypes woth phenotypes by developing integrative pipelines for high throughput omics datasets of genomics, phenomics, enviromics, transcriptomics etc.
