I have a PhD in Engineering Physics and expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. A portfolio of accomplishments includes the following disciplines:
I. Surface Engineering of metals (Cu, W, Ti, Ni) and hard-to-machine metallic alloys (Inconel 718, TC4, Fe-Cr-Ni) using Wet & Dry etching techniques. I strongly understand Metal Surface Processing, Surface Corrosion, Tribology, and the Mechanical Properties, Microstructures, and Surface Characterization techniques for the optimal performance of metals and alloys.
II. Additive Manufacturing (AM) and Electrochemical Additive Manufacturing (ECAM) of Copper to manufacture microelectrodes for batteries.
III. Electrochemical Anodization of Aluminium in Oxalic acid to grow nano-sized hexagonal structures of Al2O3 film. Anodization of large-sized Aluminum electrodes manufactured Dielectric Barrier Electrodes (DBD) electrodes for Atmospheric Plasma generation.
IV. Hybrid simultaneous SEAM and ECM (SEACM) machining of metallic alloys (TC4 and Inconel 718).
V. Designing Capacitively Coupled Plasma (CCP) and Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) devices, their Characterization (OES and Electrical), and application to cancer cells treatment, water treatment, TiO2 nanoparticles, and nanorods generation, and etching-polishing of Diamonds and SiC.
