Professor Mu-kuan Chen is currently the vice-superintendent of Changhua Christian Hospital, one of the largest medical canters in Taiwan with one medical center and 8 branch-hospitals, totally more than 3000 beds are available. He becomes a full professor in year 2010. Since year 2012, he was elected to be the president of Taiwan Head and Neck Society.
Professor Chen has been published in more than 70 S.C.I. journals, is actively involved in international editorial boards, and had more than 10 invited presentations to international societies. Since the late 1990's, his main interests are focused on advanced endoscopic head and neck surgery including endoscopic skull base surgery, endoscopic nasopharyngectomy, endoscope assisted parotidectomy and ablation of submandibular gland, and endoscopic sinonasal tumor excision. Besides, he has published many articles which focused on basic research of oral cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer.
