个人简介
My field of expertise is experimental condensed matter physics, where it meets with Materials Science. I am interested in investigations of the structure-property relationships relevant to rational construction of new magnetic materials. For this purpose I use laser pulses and particle beams to obtain amorphous and nanocrystalline magnetic materials with controlled properties, such as controlled magnetic anisotropy. I also investigate mixed oxide nanoparticles to document the onset of solid solutions by mechanochemical activation at the nanoparticle scale. Most recently, I investigated the behavior of graphene during milling with ferrite nanoparticles. The investigation techniques that I use are Mӧssbauer spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy and thermal analysis. These can be observed in my latest book, "Recent applications of the Mӧssbauer effect", published by Dorrance Publishing Company (2020).
