个人简介
I completed my PhD study at the School of Engineering, Deakin University, Australia in 2017 (https://www.deakin.edu.au/engineering).
I completed my undergraduate study Bsc in the mechanical engineering at University of Basrah, Iraq. Also, I completed the postgraduate Master degree in the field of Applied Mechanical Engineering, CAD/CAM and manufacturing engineering at University of Basra, Iraq .
I was awarded a fully funded scholarship by the Prime Minister Office in Iraq (in 2013) to study the PhD degree at Deakin University in Australia. I conducted a research study on machinability of difficult to cut alloys such as AL-6XN super austenitic stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. I published many research articles in scientific and qualified journals. Academically, I worked on software such as ABAQUS, HKL Channel5 and Object-Oriented Finite Element Analysis. Also, I attended international conferences to participate and present my research with other academic researchers.
In addition, I am reviewing papers for qualified journals and conferences and I have a valid Academic Review Certificate (from Publons Academy).
In industry, I am working as Piping Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) in Basrah Oil Company/ Rumailah Operating Organization (British Petroleum bp)/ Projects department (http://www.bp.com/en/global/corporate/about-bp/bp-worldwide/bp-in-iraq.html). I am preparing design drawings (Layout, Iso and MTO) for oil and water trunklines, flexlines, mechanical Tie-in points and stress analysis reports. I am using Mechanical Design and Analysis Software such as AutoCAD, CAD Planet 3D (3D Solids, Isometric Drawings, PID and Flow Diagrams) as well as CAESAR II stress analysis software. Also, I am involved in the technical bid evaluation process for major contracts and projects performed in the Rumaila Oil Field.
