Dr. Meena is an Entomologist with over 10 years of experience in developing sustainable and integrated pest management (IPM) solutions for the horticultural as well as urban pest management field. Meena has expertise in insect identification, insect ecology, biology, laboratory bioassay studies, field trial execution, and statistical data analysis. Meena is currently working on the fruit fly (Bactrocera tryoni) sterile insect technique (SIT) and Fall armyworm (FAW) project at Macquarie University. Meena’s main areas of interest are insect behavior and biology studies to find out and develop safer and more sustainable insect management techniques.
