His research interests include, on the theoretical side, Intelligent control (Fuzzy, Soft computing..) of Multi-Agent Systems/LPV, fault detection and isolation (FDI), fault tolerant control (FTC), LMI/SOS Optimisation. On the application side he is mainly interested in automotive control and renewable energy. He is author/editor of 8 books (Wiley, Springer, Hermes), 15 book chapters (Springer, IET) and articles published in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Chadli is a SMIEEE and DFIETI. He is serving Editorial Board member for various peer-reviewed journals including Automatica, IEEE Trans on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Trans on IE, IET-Control Theory and Applications, Journal of Franklin Institute, Asian Journal of Control, ..., and was a Guest Editor for Special Issues in international journals (IEEE, IET-CTA, JFI, AJC...). He is listed in Top 2% Scientists Worlwide 2023 by Stanford University (and 505 in the world ranking, field: Industrial Engineering and Automation).
