Mohammad Saad Alam

Mohammad Saad Alam (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India, in 2003, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering with specialization in energy, environment, and economics from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, IL, USA, in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, TN, USA, in 2009. He is currently the Founding Director (presently on leave) with the Center of Advanced Research in Electrified Transportation (CARET), AMU. His current research interests include electric mobility, xEVs charging infrastructure, smart microgrid and energy hubs optimization, large-scale new and renewable energy integration, and deployment of V2X and X2V strategies.
