I am Dr. Mohammad Ovais Dar, Ph.D. from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, India. I have worked with Prof. P.V. Bharatam’s group dedicated to the Quantum Medicinal Chemistry and synthesis of computationally designed molecule. I have completed my M.S. (Pharm) in Medicinal Chemistry (Thesis title: “Synthesis of triazole-linked glycolipids as potential antimicrobial agents”) from NIPER-Mohali, India and my PhD focused on the synthesis and quantum chemical evaluation of NHC-based compounds using Density Functional Theory (DFT) studies. My research interests include theoretical and experimental investigation of NHC containing systems and their synthesis, electronic structure analysis, and applications in medicinal and organic chemistry.
