Bio
Mohammad M. Alsahli received a bachelor's degree in geography from Kuwait University in 2002. He received a master's and Ph.D. in geography (GIScience Track) from the University of Kansas, USA, in 2006 and 2009, respectively.
He worked at Kuwait University as an assistant professor from 2010 to 2019. Since 2019, He has been an associate professor in the geography department at Kuwait University. He worked on a number of environmental projects at the country level, such as the first and second national communications of climate change and Kuwait's national adaptation plan for climate change. He also published research articles in a number of journals in remote sensing, marine and coastal environments and physical geography. He participated in different international conferences. He is a reviewer for journals in remote sensing, physical geography, and marine and coastal environments. His research interests include modeling marine and coastal water quality indicators, environmental modeling and assessment, spatial modeling, shoreline changes and sea level rise.
