Bio
Mohammad A. M. Abushariah is working as an associate professor at the Department of Computer Information Systems, King Abdullah II School for Information Technology, The University of Jordan. He also serves as the Assistant Dean for Development and Quality Affairs, Faculty of Graduate Studies, The University of Jordan. He received two bachelor degrees in management information systems and information technology from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2005 and 2006, respectively. He obtained his Master degree in software engineering from University of Malaya in 2007. Early 2012, he obtained his PhD in computer science and information technology in University of Malaya, specialized in Arabic automatic continuous speech recognition. He is a supervisor for various PhD and Master research students specialized in Arabic NLP. He has over 30 publications in ISI journals, IEEE international conferences, and technical reports. His research interests include: Arabic Natural Language Processing, Arabic speech processing, text and speech corpora, language resources production, biometrics processing, speaker identification and verification using biometrics, image processing, and software engineering. He is a member of IEEE and IACSIT.
