Dr. Salem Youssef Mohamed is a professor of internal medicine in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Unit at the University of Zagazig, Egypt. He received his B.S. and his M.D. From Zagazig University. He is a consultant physician at the teaching hospital of the same university. In addition to teaching, Dr. Salem is a regular reviewer for the Afro-Egyptian Journal of Infectious and Endemic Diseases, Gastroenterology and Hepatology from the Bed to the Bench, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology research, A reviewer at NIH, Southampton, England, and a reviewer at Undergrad Awards Dublin, Ireland, International Journal of gastrointestinal cancer, and World Journal of Surgical Oncology. He currently resides in Egypt with his wife and kids.
