Mohamed I Seedahmed

Dr. Seedahmed's work focuses on utilizing the power of real-world data in clinical research to study improve care delivery for patients with chronic lung disease with a particular focus on sarcoidosis. He is interested in developing innovative, reliable, and reproducible computational phenotyping algorithms that will allow for efficient and accurate identification of sarcoidosis cases in Electronic Health Records (EHR), setting the stage for the generation of high-quality sarcoidosis-related research variables in the future to enable studying the disease heterogeneity in the EHR. His work will lay the foundation for forthcoming projects focusing on the prospective evaluation of management approaches in sarcoidosis, using comparative effectiveness research and pragmatic clinical trials.
