Bio
Prof. Muhammad Khurram Khan is the founder and CEO of the ‘Global Foundation for Cyber Studies and Research’ (http://www.gfcyber.org), an independent and non-partisan cybersecurity think tank in Washington, D.C., USA. He is also a professor of cybersecurity and conducts world-class research, consults cybersecurity organizations (public and private sector), and helps startups and early-stage companies in their strategic missions of R&D, business, and market growth.
He has published more than 450 papers in journals and conferences of international repute. In addition, he is the inventor of 10 US/PCT patents. His research areas of interest are cybersecurity, AI for cybersecurity, IoT security, digital authentication, cloud computing security, biometrics, cyber policy, etc.
He is a fellow of the IET (UK), a fellow of the BCS (UK), a fellow of the FTRA (Korea), and a senior member of the IEEE (USA). He is also the vice chair of the IEEE Communications Society Saudi Chapter. He is a distinguished lecturer of the IEEE (CTSoC).
