Bio
Min Zhang received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., in 2010.
She spent a year as a Junior Research Fellow at the Newnham College, Cambridge, and then joined the University of Bath, Bath, U.K., as a Lecturer. She joined the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., as a Reader in 2018. Her research focuses on the application of high-temperature superconductors in power system transmission, renewable generation, and electric transportation.
Dr. Zhang is a Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
